My evaluation and experience
The Silky Super Accel 210 mm saved my life last winter. Not dramatically, but very practically: A fallen tree blocked the forest path, on which I was traveling with twenty children.
I have been carrying the saw with me for almost every wilderness course for four years. It weighs only 200 g and disappears into any pocket with its 24 cm length (folded). When I unfold it, it becomes a 44 cm long precision tool.
What always surprises me: how effortlessly I can work with it.
Even the children in my courses can saw with it. The blade cuts when pulling, not when pushing. That means: less force, more control. The 7 teeth per 30 mm are perfect for fresh wood in the forest.
The handle made of aluminum with rubber coating also fits well in the hand when wet. I have already worked with it in freezing temperatures without the saw slipping out of my hands.
Particularly practical are the two different saw positions and the locking mechanism. The blade securely locks in place and does not close unintentionally.
For wilderness educators, hikers, and campers, the saw is ideal. However, those who regularly need to work on thicker logs will need something larger. The 20.5 cm long blade reaches its limits there.

I have been taking the Silky Super Accel 210 mm with me on every tour for three years. The saw does exactly what it is supposed to – it cuts effortlessly. I need less force than with other saws.
The foldable design protects the blade and my backpack. The saw weighs almost nothing and almost disappears in my pocket.
Especially I like the handle. It sits well in the hand, even when it gets wet.
In my courses, some participants have already asked about this saw. It convinces through its sharpness and precision. A reliable companion in the woods.
