The video about the Streamlight Stylus Pro
In the video, you will also learn all the facts about the Streamlight Stylus Pro.
The brand Streamlight
The flashlight comes from the brand Streamlight.
Streamlight is a company based in Eagleville, Pennsylvania, USA, that manufactures flashlights with various rechargeable batteries and disposable batteries. Their product range includes handheld and weapon lights.
The company was founded in 1973, and you can find the website here.
Technical facts about the Streamlight Stylus Pro LED flashlight
First and foremost, the brightness.
The flashlight is an LED flashlight with excellent brightness.
You will notice this by the 48 lumens that the lamp brings with it.
In the test, I was very surprised by how bright the small LED bulb is on the inside.
And even more astonishing is the range. Illuminating a path 20 or 30 meters away is no challenge for the Streamlight Stylus Pro.
All of this is provided by just a single LED lamp, which is permanently installed.
Splash-proof
The flashlight is splash-proof and according to protection class IPX4.
IPX4 means:
- Protected against solid foreign objects with Ø ≥ 1.0 mm and against access with a wire
- Protection against splashing water from all sides
Weight and Size
The weight is 45.4 g. That is as heavy as a size S egg (so really light). The lamp is 134 x 15 mm long and wide.
Form
The flashlight is about as long as a ballpoint pen and about as wide as a marker. This makes it very comfortable to hold.
Batteries and Runtime
2 AAA batteries are required, which are included in the delivery. To insert the batteries, you need to unscrew the flashlight. The manufacturer states a total runtime of 6.5 hours with full batteries.
Material
The flashlight is made of aluminum and appears robust. All screw caps can be easily screwed and appear well-made.
Switch
You can set three modes with the switch.
The Stylus Pro is operated with a switch on the tail cap. A light press allows for short on and off. A full press and click turns the light on or off. There is only one brightness level, which I really like.
The switch can be unscrewed and the rubber can be replaced.
Delivery Contents
The flashlight comes in a plastic packaging. Both required batteries are included.
In addition, you will also receive a tear-resistant nylon holster.
Summary
The lamp is excellently crafted, nothing rattles, and it feels good in the hand.
The lamp can only shine with brilliance.
Small and lightweight - perfect for your survival training or your bushcraft camp.
