My evaluation and experience
My LifeStraw Go water bottle has accompanied me in many situations. Whether hiking in the Thuringian forests or camping in the Brandenburg woods with my children, this bottle is often part of my outdoor equipment.
With its two-stage filtering system, I can simply fill it up at a stream or pond and drink clean, safe water directly. (Of course, I also check the water well and if it seems suspicious, I boil it.)
I was particularly impressed by the capacity of the main filter. It can handle up to 1,000 liters, while the activated carbon filter can filter 100 liters of water.
The bottle holds 650 ml, which is perfect for me when I'm on the go and don't want to carry too much weight. It weighs just under 220 grams, making it pleasantly lightweight, ideal for attaching to a backpack with the integrated carabiner.
The LifeStraw Go is made of BPA-free material and is leak-proof. I never had to worry about my backpack getting wet from a leaky bottle. Its durability particularly convinced me when it fell several times without taking any damage.
What I don't like is that I have to suck quite hard on it. But unfortunately, this is the case with many such water filter bottles.
Nevertheless, this water bottle is a tip for hikers, campers, and survival enthusiasts. Those who travel frequently will also appreciate it, as it removes over 99.99% of bacteria in the water.
However, people who are sensitive to suction resistance or are looking for a more affordable alternative may want to consider other options. The LifeStraw Go requires a bit of effort when drinking, which may not be everyone's cup of tea.

You won't have to worry about where your water comes from anymore. Simply dip it into the nearest river and you're good to go.
The bottle is lightweight, durable, and BPA-free. It saves money and is environmentally friendly, as you no longer need disposable plastic bottles. For me and many others in the community, it is a valuable piece of equipment on my outdoor adventures.
