My evaluation and experience

When I was recently in the forest with my children to teach them some bushcraft and survival basics, I was once again glad to have my Morakniv Bushcraft Survival Knife with me.

While carving wood sticks for our campfire, it quickly became apparent how sharp and precise the blade, just under eleven centimeters long, works. The strong blade spine turned out to be extremely robust and could be used excellently for rougher work.

When it came to making fire, the integrated fire steel came into play. Together with some tinder, we quickly started a warming fire.

Back at home, I was glad about the diamond sharpener integrated into the sheath. With that, the blade could be brought back to top performance in no time. With a total length of 23.7 centimeters and a weight of around 370 grams, the knife is neither too big nor too heavy to carry comfortably on the belt.
